Tala Prattoy, one of the vastly recognised Durga Pujas of Kolkata and a frontliner in the endeavour of carrying Bengal art and culture to global periphery, is reaching the milestone of 100 years of its journey this year. With an immense legacy behind, TalaPrattoy has contemplated to initiate the centenary celebration with a musical conotation.




Day 1

The inaugural day of 'music in a park ' became memorable with the flowing resonance of music all around, performed by the legendary flute maestro Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia with impeccable accompaniment of Pandit Kumar Bose on tabla.





Day 2

The lamp lighting ceremony for the centenary celebration of Tala Prattoy Durga Puja Art was marked with the presence of luminous presence of distinguished dignitaries. Followed by was the precious experience of listening the Sarod Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan accompanied by Tabla wizard Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri.
